Fiedler, Department of Mathematics, University of Leipzig, 1996. The tools in dosani.tar.gz can be applied under Mathematica 2.1 or 2.2 for MS-DOS with text interface. The files dosani.bat muster.ani are text files for MS-DOS. You can generate an animation from picture files x1, x2, ... , xn by the following steps: 1. Copy all files x1,...,xn, dosani.bat, muster.ani in a working directory. The path has to contain the directory of Mathematica. 2. Mostly the archives of animations contain a file *.ani, which can be used in place of muster.ani. If such a file exists, the steps 3 and 4 can be jumped. 3. Copy the file muster.ani to a file name.ani, where name ist the name of the final animation. 4. Delete in name.ani the lines, which do not needed. 5. Give the command dosani name.ani The result is a file name.ani, which containes the animation. The new file name.ani overwrites the old file name.ani. Now, the animation can be shown by the command animate name.ani
